The company’s International Training Event held in Detroit, Michigan, September 15-17 was the ultimate throwback, featuring dynamic training, motivation and networking opportunities – all highlighted by emotional ACN energy memories from the past 25 years. Participants left with the knowledge to advance their businesses, while area restaurants, hotels and businesses were left with millions of dollars in revenue from attendees who traveled to Detroit from around the world.
Yet as with each of the company’s events, ACN energy fulfilled its ultimate mission – to leave the cities in which they visit a little better off than they found them. In fact, at each of ACN’s worldwide events, the company collects donations for the local Ronald McDonald House and then matches those donations dollar for dollar, presenting a check to the charity at the close of the event. Keeping with its global mission of giving back, ACN energy collected donations throughout the weekend to support the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, and on Sunday, September 17, presented a check in the amount of $49,428 to representatives from the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit. The donations will impact local families who utilize the house while their children are in area hospitals. A local family, representing the Ronald McDonald House, tearfully told the audience how meaningful the donation is and that the Ronald McDonald house is “not just a place to stay, not just a place to sleep, but a home away from home.”
