Lauren Walker Promoted to Chief Supply Officer by Young Living Essential Oils Products
World-leading essential oils company Young Living Essential Oils products, announced today the promotion to Chief Supply Officer of Lauren Walker who, in her tenure with the company, have implemented meticulous sourcing standards and streamlined both manufacturing and warehousing operations with her team.
Young Living Chief Operating Officer Jared Young had nothing but praises for their new CSO. “Lauren embraces Young Living’s passion for being stewards of the earth and has been a driving force in ensuring that the sourcing, manufacturing and shipping components of our business all operate under that mindset,” he said. “Her experience and expertise in project management, manufacturing, and supply chain gained throughout her career has been a great addition to our strong executive team.”
Walker is the figurehead who leads the sourcing pillar of Young Living’s Seed to Seal program (Sourcing, Science and Standards), that oversees how products are acquired (whether it’s from corporate-owned farms, partner farms, or Seed to Seal-certified suppliers). The sourcing pillar is a significant part of Young Living’s verification process because it is through their internal and third-party tracking system that ingredients in their products such as food, skin care and supplements are thoroughly checked if they were manufactured and produced according to high standards and best practices.
Walker couldn’t be more proud of her team’s achievements. “We have an obligation to provide our customers with the highest quality products and the best customer experience, and we do that by having effective processes in place,” she said. “I’m proud that our team has assessed the whole supply chain of oil and refined or established processes that help us provide the best products and services to our customers.”
Walker has established herself as a leader and innovator, and her three decade career that she spent with high-profile multi-national companies says it all. She worked for Xerox as an engineer after finishing her engineering degree then moved to Procter and Gamble where she worked in supply chain, manufacturing, technical operations and quality. She also had a seven-year stint with Johnson & Johnson as plant manager, then later on as Program Manager for Oral Care. She also served as Vice President of Manufacturing for Amway prior to joining Young Living in 2016, where she was responsible for manufacturing across several product lines like nutrition, personal, home and beauty care, paper products and durable goods.
Walked has also been a keynote speaker for American Manufacturing Strategies Summit and Front End Innovation Conference in addition to her really impressive resume. She’s also a Lean Six Sigma Champion in Manufacturing and Green Belt Certified. She currently serves as one of the Board of Directors for the Salt Lake Chamber and holds a degree in engineering from Union College in New York.
