Melaleuca, the well-known wellness product giant, is yet another example of how network marketing businesses not only thrive in any economy, they help the economy thrive.

The MLM company’s recent innovations and its increasing success with the manufacture and direct sales of roughly 350 health and cleaning products has led to expansion—and with that expansion, hundreds of new jobs for workers in Bonneville County, Idaho, and the surrounding region.

CEO Frank VanderSloot announced last week that Melaleuca plans to build a new manufacturing facility next spring in southeastern Idaho, near the company’s other facilities in the area.

Key the MLM company’s recent growth is a new patented process for the supplements it produces, a way to increase how quickly the minerals are absorbed by the body.

In addition to supplements, Melaleuca’s product list includes other nutritional products, such as powdered drinks, as well as household and personal care items, such as detergents and lotions.
