USANA Sets New GUINESS WORLD RECORDS Title at 25th Anniversary Event
SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — The Guinness World Record title for the largest gathering of people dressed as scientists has officially been broken. Cellular Nutrition Company USANA announced this marvellous achievement on August 16 during its annual International Convention in Salt Lake City in conjunction with the company’s 25th anniversary celebration.
USANA needed more than 489 people to dress as scientist to break the record previously set by Stivichall Primary School and friends in Coventry, United Kingdom on July 9, 2016. Wearing white lab coats, goggles, and test tubes (or beakers), USANA broke the record by having its 893 participants stand in an organized space for five minutes in the presence of an Guinness World Record official.
Official Guinness World Records adjudicator Andrew Glass, had this to say: “At GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS, we celebrate impressive achievements from around the globe. The tremendous efforts of the USANA team have resulted in a successful attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title of Largest gathering of people dressed as scientists. We congratulate and welcome them into the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS family.”
